KEYSER — Neighbors in the Potomac Highlands have formed a solar co-op to save money and make going solar easier, while building a network of solar supporters. The group is seeking members and will host an information meeting on Wednesday, February 7, 7 p.m., at the Davis Conference Center, Potomac State College of WVU, 101 Fort Ave, Keyser WV 26726, to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Potomac Highlands residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page. The co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels. Once the group is large enough, co-op participants will select a single company to complete all the installations. Participants will then have the option to purchase panels individually based on the installer’s group rate.

Solar co-op participants receive fair and competitive pricing for solar, and support and guidance from Solar United Neighbors throughout the entire process of going solar.
