Rise N Shine 4-H club wraps up year

Members from Rise N Shine gather at the South Branch Inn for their yearly Christmas party.

The Rise N Shine 4 H Club held their meeting Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by President Mulledy Jane Cook. Taylor Treadway led the group with the Pledge of Allegiance. The 4-H pledge was led by Kirsten Hiett and Daisy Dalrymple. Devotions were given by Cora Alderman, Luke Alkire and Ethan Thorne. Song leaders Olivia Bohrer and Lily Dalrymple performed a Thanksgiving song.

Members received their new project books. The club voted to donate $100 to the 4-H National Congress. The club gathered at Eli and Misty Cook's Dec. 10 to bag apples for shoeboxes. On Dec. 18, the club met at the South Branch Inn for their yearly Christmas party. Members brought nonperishable foods to donate to a family in need for the holidays. There was a potluck meal, and members exchanged gifts.

The next meeting will be Jan. 19.
