Died: Jan. 1, 2014 Romney Navy, Quartermaster, 2nd Class, From May 1944 to Feb. 1946. Dale served on the Destroyer Escort 575, USS Errands alongside the sister ship USS Barr 576 (named after a Marine from Keyser). These ships worked alongside a submarine killer group.
