Sally has been gardening since she was very young. She lived in Reston for 17 years and moved to Charles Town in 1990 to get away from the crowds.
When all the new building began in Charles Town in 2000, she and her husband began looking farther out to get away from it all. She and her husband bought property, built a house and moved here 6 years ago when they both retired.
She has 3 children scattered to the three winds: Olney, MD, San Francisco and Key West. Sally loves gardening, but she also loves horseback riding with her friends for hours in the mountains at North River Mountain Ranch. Horses are a new interest she acquired when she moved.
