Due to semi-retirement, she is now a proofreader and writes a Chat column and a Consumer Report weekly. A collection of her columns on what it was like growing up on a farm have been published in book form. She has been married for 53 years, has four children, four grandchildren and one great-grandson. She feels her greatest accomplishment in her years at the newspaper has been the numerous friends she has made. |
