Math thrills

Mrs. Barnes’ 4th-grade class at Romney Elementary scooted their way to another goal in Iready Math. They needed to complete 200 math lessons as a class to earn a scooter race in the hallway. Each student needed to pass at least 5 individual math lesson in the online module to participate. The students crowded around the hallway and 3 students raced in each heat, until the winners from each heat battled for the fastest speed. It was a loud, tough competition. In the end, Greyson Snyder won the title of fastest scooter racer and was cheered on by his fellow 4th-graders. o
