Brittany Nicole Fairman, 22, and her unborn baby went to Heaven on Sunday, June 16, 2019, due to a car accident.
Born on March 16, 1997, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester Va., she was the daughter of Kathy Unger and step-father, Brian Unger, of Martinsburg, WV and Eddie Fairman of Romney.
Brittany had a carefree spirit and loved to joke around. Her favorite place to be was the beach or around any type of water. Her greatest joy was being with her nieces, Aria and Aleeyah, and her nephew, Avion. She also loved spending time with her Uncle Butch.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Norman and Stella Whetzel.
Along with her parents, she is survived by a sister, Annie Whetzel of Martinsburg; 6 brothers, Alex Fairman of Romney, Austin Fairman, Jacob Fairman, Jordan Fairman, Jason Fairman, all of Baltimore, Md., Hunter Fairman, of Winchester, Va.; paternal grandmother, Barbara Fairman of Three Churches; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at McKee Funeral Home chapel in Augusta with Pastor Dave Bradfield officiating.
Burial will be in Branch Mountain Cemetery in Three Churches. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
