Capon Chapel Church of the Brethren just a year ago was flooded, church had been cancelled for service in the building for several weeks. Resumed services back at the location on July 7 after 5 weeks. Got the picnic tables for pavilion, just about back to normal

VBS is schedule for Aug. 6 and 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday Morning closing with picnic Mark your calendar.  

The Sheriff Kids Camp was a great success. Several from our family went. Granddaughters enjoyed all the activities especially including touring the Medevac Helicopter, Great way to start the Summer. School is out for this term. Graduation Friday was a beautiful event

Class reunions were over the weekend, next year class of 1965 will celebrate 55 years. Can’t believe it has been that long.

Sharon Orndorff received a plaque from Capon Bridge Middle School for volunteer of the year. She was very activity in school sports and more.

Destiny Snyder is home but still having some problems. She was working her horse around barrels and he bucked; she lost her grip and was tossed. Hurt her neck thanks God for the helmet. She said she was so glad she had it on or could have been worse.

Reminder; Mineral County Fair, Fort Ashby is June 18-22. Rolling Acres Music Park Gospel Jubilee is June 19-22 good camping an fun all day. Also July 10-13 more Gospel Music at the Park in New Creek with Lulu Roman from “Hee Haw,” Dominion Trio and Chosen Road.

Sympathy to Alta Morris in passing of her granddaughter Angela, she had fought a hard battle with cancer Prayer concerns Scottie Bohrer, Sharon Montgomery; Russell Arnold; Tim Fry; Crystal Haines Stoltzfus; Dallas Fowler; Kenny Pownell Jr.; All traveling on Vacation.
