In their annual performance at the State Capitol, The Tapestry and Mountaineer Melodies groups with the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind performed “A West Virginia Medley,” a combination of “West Virginia Hills” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads” put together by Joshua Haza, the Music Director of Tapestry and Mountaineer Melodies. These groups have been performing for the legislature for over 20 years now, and this year, each delegate received the schools’ new CD: “WVSDB Our Vision in 2020,” a collection of several songs that the students recorded on campus in the recording studio.
