Library hosts student art display

ROMNEY — Artwork, ranging from brightly colored abstract paintings to cartoon replications of Disney characters, created by Hampshire County students is currently on display at the library in Romney. A reception on the 2nd floor at the library is set for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Saturday.

HCAC party

The Hampshire County Arts Council celebrated its 21st birthday at its annual meeting Saturday, held in the Bottling Works. Phineas Rolls entertained with some old-school rock music, members feasted on barbecue and a live auction was held.
