The Hampshire County Board of Education held a regular meeting on Monday, July 22.

All Board members were in attendance.

Board members approved the agenda.

I. Appearance(s):

There were no appearances.

II. Approval of minutes:

Board members approved the June 28 and July 9 board minutes.

III. Consent agenda items:

A. Board members approved the following consent agenda items for schools:

1. Four requests from parents for their children to attend school in Mineral County instead of Hampshire County (their home district).

2. Eighteen requests from parents for their children to attend school in Hardy County instead of Hampshire County (their home district).

3. One request from parents for their child to attend school in Hampshire County instead of Mineral County (their home district).

4. The following fundraiser requests:

Hampshire High: Cheerleaders: doughnut sales, car wash, Vera Bradley bingo and t-shirt sales. Trojan Athletic Association: golf tournament.

Romney Middle: Chrysalis Learning Center: box tops for education and labels for education.

B. Board members approved the following consent agenda item for finance:

Bills to be paid as submitted by the finance office.

President Mathias adjourned the meeting at 7:47 p.m.
