The Corridor H Authority, in coordination with the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOT), will host a ground-breaking ceremony on Monday, July 15, in Davis, W.Va., to designate the newest section of construction that is beginning on the Corridor H highway.
The ceremony will be held at a construction site roughly 300 yards from Canaan Valley Institute (494 Riverstone Rd, Davis, WV). The new section of highway will connect Davis and Scherr, W.Va.
The ground-breaking ceremony will be part of a Corridor H Authority meeting being held that day at Canaan Valley Institute. The Authority meeting will feature updates on the status of Corridor H and new information regarding the construction timetable for completion of the highway.
The Authority meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include an update by the WVDOT, to be followed by a tour of area construction.
