5-13-13 Home buying workshop set for May 21

KEYSER – The Region 8 Planning and Development Council and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund are co-sponsoring an information workshop for persons interested in purchasing a home but afraid to take the first step. Participants will learn more about financing options offered by USDA-Rural Development and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families interested in buying a home to learn more about the process and the various financing opportunities from the professionals,” stated Terry Lively, Region 8 executive director.

This workshop is free to the public and open to residents in Hampshire, Grant, Hardy, Mineral and Pendleton Counties of West Virginia. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Mineral County Health Department, Harley Staggers Sr. Drive, Keyser.
