5-12-13 Frost advisory, freeze watch issued

The National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington has issued a frost advisory from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday for Hampshire County, the Potomac Highlands and the Eastern Panhandle. A Freeze Warning remains in effect from late Monnday through Tuesday morning.

* Temperatures… in the mid 30s tonight… low 30s on Monday night.

* Impacts… potential damage to unprotected cold-sensitive
vegetation.

A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered.

A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
