MARTINSBURG — A 35-year-old Stone Mountain, Ga., resident entered a plea of guilty on April 9, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II has announced Christopher Michael Roof entered a plea of guilty to “possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and cocaine hydrochloride” in Martinsburg. Roof, who is in custody pending sentencing currently scheduled for July 22, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $1,000,000 fine.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Stephen L. Vogrin and former Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow and investigated by the Martinsburg Police Department.
