4-8-13 State police conducting sobriety checkpoint on Route 220

In an effort to increase awareness of the hazards of intoxicated driving, members of the West Virginia State Police will conduct a Sobriety Checkpoint in Hardy County, Friday, April 12, from 8 p.m. until Saturday, April 13, at 2 a.m.

The Sobriety Checkpoint will be conducted in Hardy County, along U.S. Route 220, in Moorefield.

During this weekend, the Governor’s Highway Safety Program, in conjunction with the West Virginia State Police, will conduct events and patrols concentrating on the arrest of intoxicated drivers.

This message is being published in an effort to remind drivers not to drink and drive.
