Arndale Wayne “Casper” Kerr Jr., 50, of Wardensville, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, at   Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born Nov. 4, 1962, in Laurel, Md., he was a son of the late Arndale Wayne and Oleta Ginn Kerr.

He spent most of his life in Wardensville. He was a graduate of East Hardy High School, class of 1981. He worked in construction, carpentry and as a woodsman.

Surviving are his stepmother, Glenda Parker Kerr of Wardensville; two sisters, Jackie Mongold and husband Leon of College Park, Md.; and Christine Stonebarner and husband Martin of Harrisonburg, Va.; two nephews, a niece, several great-nephews and great-nieces.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Loy-Giffin Funeral Home, Wardensville, is in charge of the arrangements.
