Louisa Marie Davidson, 78, of Cumberland, Md., died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Western Maryland Health System, Cumberland.

Born July 15, 1934, in Romney, she was the daughter of the late John Coleman and Mary Ellen Stump Racey. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Garrett D. Davidson; two sons-in-law, Bob Twigg and Mark Kline; a grandson, Roger D. Piper Jr.; and three brothers, John Racey, Leonard Racey and Kenneth Racey.

She was a loving, generous mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for family.

Surviving are two sons, Garrett D. Davidson and special friend, Bob Seiler, of Cumberland; and John L. Davidson and wife Tara, Ridgeley; three daughters, Debra E. Oates and husband Michael, Fort Ashby;

Donna L. Shook and husband Ron, LaVale, Md., and Krista A. Ganoe and husband Larry, Romney; a brother, Eugene “Bud” Racey, Romney; two sisters, Beatrice “Bea” Jobe and Anna Dean, Romney; six grandchildren, Lisa Twigg, Bobby Twigg and wife Becky, Jessica Miller and husband Roger, Mark Davidson and wife Amber, Marsha Davidson and husband Kevin, and Amanda Netzer and husband Eddie; 12 great-grandchildren, Richard Twigg, Roger D. Piper III, Phillip Piper, Luke Piper, Kylee Piper, Savannah Barber, Matthew Davidson, Emma Davidson, Adrian Davidson, Alex Berg, Logan Berg and Nevaeh Netzer; and a great-great-granddaughter, Maci Piper.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, Wednesday, April 3, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

Interment will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.
