3-11-13 Seminar addresses natural gas and private water supplies

MORGANTOWN — Learn more about private water supplies and the regulations that accompany natural gas well drilling at a one-day educational program from the West Virginia University Extension Service next Monday, March 18, at the Mollohan Center, located at the Wetzel County 4-H Camp grounds.

The two-hour program, which begins at 6 p.m., is free to the public but space is limited.  Participants should pre-register by calling Mindy Mall, WVU Extension Service Wetzel County agent, at 304.455.0934.

Representatives from WVU Extension Service and Penn State Extension will present on topics like hydro fracturing, regulations, voluntary landowner testing, leasing stipulations, and more.
