School board approves employee transfers

Click here!The Hampshire County Board of Education held a special meeting, its twenty-sixth (26th) meeting of the 2012-2013 school year, on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Offices of the Hampshire County Board of Education.
All board members were in attendance.
Purpose: The Hampshire County Board of Education met in special session on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Offices of the Hampshire County Board of Education for the purpose of considering and voting on personnel matters. Regular business was also addressed.
Board members approved the agenda.
Appearances:
A. Jill Jones, American Federation of Teachers, requested that board members continue to offer to pay the premiums for dental and vision insurance for employees.
B. Kim Poland, Service Personnel representative, asked board members to leave the dental and vision insurance intact.
C. Rob Wolford, teacher at Romney Middle, requested that board members continue to offer employees’ dental and vision benefits and to pay premiums.
