Hilda Strosnider Rinard, 94, of Wardensville, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the E.A. Hawse Nursing and Rehab Center in Baker.
Born May 1, 1918, in Wardensville, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mae Vance Strosnider. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Clyde R. Rinard, whom she married July 14, 1962, in Wardensville and who died June 26, 2007; and three sisters, Annabelle Fishel, Neva Crawford and Gloria Fishel.
She worked as a seamstress at the Winchester Knitting Mill in Winchester, Va. She also retired from the Hardy County Board of Education as a custodian at the Wardensville schools. She was a member of the Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church near Wardensville.
Surviving are a brother, Ernest Strosnider of Stephens City, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Loy-Giffin Funeral Home in Wardensville on Friday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. with Frank Naglic officiating.
Interment was at Wardensville Cemetery
