CHARLESTON –  The West Virginia Board of Education Wednesday accepted WVSDB Superintendent Lynn Boyer’s recommendation and has taken the facilities plan off its agenda until January 2014.

Boyer said she shared information relating to the costs of implementing the facilities’ design on the Romney campus and at undetermined sites in the Morgantown and Charleston areas.

“My recommendation was based on the need for more extensive information so the WVBE could make an informed decision,” said Boyer.

Boyer said the board accepted her recommendation to expect a broad gathering of information from all stakeholders, including the Romney community, alumni, students, WVSDB staff and families that will be presented to them in January 2014.
