2-7-13 Wintry mix expected for Friday morning

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from 4 a.m to 10 a.m. on Friday.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected to create a wintry mix. Snow and sleet accumulation of up to 1 inch. Up to a few hundredths of an inch of ice is expected from the freezing rain.

Temperatures in the lower 30s.

Any untreated surfaces will become ice especially on
elevated surfaces during the morning commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
