Genevieve Stickley Hartman, 81, of Royersford, Pa., formerly of Route 4, Keyser, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Pottstown Hospital, Pottstown, Pa.
Born Aug. 12, 1931, at Russeldale, she was a daughter of the late Dora Ray and Eva Lorena Shoemaker Stickley. Also preceding her in death were her husband of 60 years, Donald R. Hartman, on April 19, 2012; a daughter, Kathryn Lynch; three brothers, Ray T. “Toby” Stickley, Darlton K. “Bud” Stickley and Robert W. “Bob” Stickley; and a sister, Margaret Amtower.
She was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Mount Olive United Methodist Church, Purgitsville.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Hartman and wife Jennifer of King George, Va., and David Hartman of Royersford; a son-in-law, John Lynch of Orlando, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Anne Stickley, of Keyser; five grandchildren, Keith, Caroline and Lee Hartman; and Erika Pauley and Lyndsey Shealy; a great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Shealy, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Wednesday, Jan. 30, (today) at 11a.m. with pastor Gwen Wolford officiating.
Interment will be in the Elijah High Cemetery, Purgitsville.
