12-28-12 Judge retiring after 28 years on bench

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (AP) — Circuit Judge Thomas Keadle is retiring after 28 years on the bench in Lewis and Upshur counties.

Keadle, a former Hampshire County attorney,  plans to step down Jan. 31.

He hopes to do some work as a senior status judge.

It will be up to Governor Earl Ray Tomblin to appoint a successor.
