AUGUSTA — Today at 2:15 p.m., James Hoffman, general manager of Central Hampshire Public Service District, said, “Water tests results show the water is OK and does not have to be boiled.”
The water in the tanks at Sunrise Summit had to be tested due to a leak that occurred Nov. 9 depleting the water supply.
Hoffman sent samples of the water to the Kearneysville Health Department on Monday to be tested.
