AUGUSTA  — The boil water advisory for residents of the Sunrise Summit area will continue indefinitely.

“It won’t be lifted until tests results come back showing everything is OK,” said James Hoffman, general manager of Central Hampshire Public Service District.

Hoffman said samples were sent to the Kearneysville Health Department on Monday. He did not know when the results would be complete.

Testing the water supply of two tanks in the Sunrise Summit area is due to a leak that occurred Nov. 9 depleting the water supply.
