ROMNEY — The City of Romney’s Christmas star has been refurbished and will once again glow from atop the water tower this holiday season.

A new display will also be lighted on the lawn of Taggart Hall.

The Festival of Lights begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening, Nov. 20, with the lighting of the tree at the courthouse.

The festival is sponsored by the  Hampshire County Commission, City of Romney, Chamber of Commerce, Ft. Mill Ridge Foundation, Hampshire County Parks & Recreation, and the Hampshire County Business and Professional Organization.

The Nativity will again be at the Literary Hall.

Refreshments will follow at Taggart Hall.
