These grandchildren of Captain von Trapp continue the musical traditions of their famous family, which was portrayed in the timeless movie, The Sound of Music. These young siblings Sofia, Melanie, Amanda and Justin will perform folk and classical songs from European and American traditions, as well as holiday classics and timeless pieces from the Rogers and Hammerstein musical that turned von Trapp into a household name.
Tickets are $26 for adults and $21 for youth under 17. Corporate and group discount rates are also available.
To help audiences get into the Von Trapp spirit, CES Inspiring Audiences program will offer a free presentation of the film, The Sound of Music, on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. in Lane University Center room 111.
