Restrictions
  • Registration. Each vehicle must register at the designated check in station.
  • Speed limit is 5 mph in the campground and 10 mph on all roads outside the campground.
  • Regular quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Event night and holiday quiet hours are 12 midnight to 8 a.m.
  • Parents and/or legal guardians are responsible at all times for the supervision and safety of their children and guests under 18.
  • Pets with proof of shots, on a durable leash, and attended at all times are welcome. No pets are allowed in the store, Laundromat, or restrooms. Pets are not to be left outside when owners are not on the lot. Owners will dispose of pet waste. Any pet causing a disturbance (i.e. excessive barking, aggressive behavior) shall be removed immediately from the campground at the manager’s request.
  • Motor vehicles are to be operated by licensed drivers only.  Bicycles, golf carts and licensed vehicles must stay on established roads and are not allowed after dark unless equipped with working lights.   Golf carts shall have lot number in a place so that it is visible at all times, be operated by a licensed driver, follow manufacturers requirements for seating capacity, and present Certificate of Liability to campground office prior to use.    No indiscriminate driving of vehicles (cruising) is allowed.
  • ALL USE OF THE RIVER IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  • If you choose to swim in the river please remember:
    • A. There are no lifeguards on duty.
    • B. Because of debris, please wear shoes at all times while in the water and on land. 
    • C. The cliffs across the river are off limits.
  • A West Virginia fishing license is required to fish in the river.  Deer, raccoons, squirrels, snakes and other wild animals pass through the campground.  Always maintain a safe distance from these animals. Please do not try to catch or pet any of them.  Remember to keep all food secure and unavailable from these wild animals.
  • Campsites will be maintained in a neat and attractive manner with all garbage bagged and put in dumpster.
  • Campfires are permitted only in designated areas and shall not be left unattended. Thoroughly extinguish your campfire before checking out. No cutting of standing timber or bushes. Trees are not to be used to support ropes, tarps, lanterns, or other camping equipment.
  • All tanks (black, gray, and fresh) must be emptied at the dumping station. No liquids are to be dumped on the ground surface at any time. Hose down any spillage to keep dump station clean.
  • Check out time is 3 p.m.
  • Prohibited  
    • Firearms of any kind (except for licensed hunters during hunting season)
    • ATV’s and unlicensed motorcycles.
    • Fireworks
    • Littering
    • Smoking in the bathhouse, store, or Laundromat
    • Washing vehicles and/or RV
    • Use of washer/dryer contained in a RV
