"Volunteers Helping Libraries"
The Hampshire County Public Library FRIENDS organization play a very important role in helping the library serve the public. Volunteers donate their time and energy in many ways.
Each year in the spring the FRIENDS hold their major fund raiser "Silent Auction" which has been a, success for over fifteen years. Other fund raisers conducted by the FRIENDS throughout the year include, Plants sales, Easter Egg sales, and yard and bake sales.
Besides fundraisers the FRIENDS sponsor many educational programs open to the public during the year including: Computer classes, health and fitness programs, Meet the author and programs on current events. Also check out "Upcoming Events" for programs.
We invite you to support the Hampshire County Public Library by becoming a member of the FRIENDS of the library. Dues a yearly and are as follows: $2.00 single, $20.00 single, lifetime, and $30.00 couple, lifetime.
