Capon Bridge Ruritan Club
Capon Bridge Ruritan Club (CBRC) is organizing this trip for two people (winner) through Alaska Coastal Adventures (ACA outfitter), 6702 Darkwood Drive, Riverside CA 92506. Alaska Coastal Adventures has 20 years experience and a 95% success rate and operate out of Wrangell, Alaska. Alaska Coastal Adventures is in no way associated with, supporting, or coordinating this raffle. Neither Capon Bridge Ruritan Club or Alaska Coastal Adventures guarantees the winner will catch fish or successfully bag a black bear on this trip.
Capon Bridge Ruritan Club is responsible to manage, organize, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of this raffle. No business sponsors are liable for or responsible for the conduct of this raffle.
This trip is tentatively scheduled for the May-June 2007 season. All arrangements (airline schedules, vacation time, reservations with ACA outfitter and hotels, etc.) MUST be made no later than December 31, 2006. Failure to finalize arrangements by this date may necessitate moving the trip to the 2008 season. CBRC, if requested, will provide assistance to the winner for trip arrangements
The winner MUST agree to the conditions of ACA outfitter, i.e. the 6 days will be aboard his outfitted floating lodge, transported and moved at the captain’s discretion. Winner MUST agree to comply with and follow all orders and directions given by the captain of the boat at all times.
CBRC will sell up to 1000 tickets for this raffle. No minimum number of ticket sales are required for the drawing to take place. Each ticket will be purchased in a sealed envelope which the purchaser will open at the time of purchase, fill out the address stub, and give the stub to the ticket agent. The winning ticket will be drawn at the CBRC Pancake Supper on October 14, 2006. A runner up ticket will also be drawn in the event the winner does not claim the trip. Winner MUST present his/her ticket stub to CBRC by midnight October 28, 2006 to successfully claim the trip. In the event the successful winner does NOT claim his/her trip by midnight October 28, 2006, the runner up will be notified and must present his/her stub to claim the trip. The winning ticket number will be listed in the Hampshire Review newspaper. Participants must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets.
CBRC is not responsible for accidents, injuries, mishaps, etc. that the winner may incur while on this trip. CBRC is not responsible for travel delays or changes that may occur with airlines, hotels, ACA outfitter, or other vendors.
Winner MUST be legal for possession of firearms and free to travel. The minimum acceptable caliber for this hunt is 7mm magnum. Winner MUST use TSA acceptable gun case for travel on airlines.
Winner MUST be physically fit and able to participate in hunting and fishing activities.
This trip INCLUDES:
Round trip coach airfare from nearest commercial airport to Wrangell, Alaska (limited to $750 per person)
2 night hotel reservations (inbound) and 1 night (outbound)
6-days (Sunday morning through Friday afternoon) aboard ACA outfitter’s floating lodge including all meals while onboard, fishing tackle and bait, and unguided bear hunt
Hunting tags and license and salmon stamp
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Firearms or ammunition
Proper hunting gear, clothing, accessories
Meals while not on the floating lodge
Extra travel, whether voluntary or due to delays
Fish and game cleaning and processing
Be advised that winner MUST leave the Friday before the scheduled hunt in order to arrive in Wrangell, Alaska on Saturday and be ready to board the boat on Sunday morning. The boat returns to Wrangell on Friday afternoon.
